Avoid alcohol, strenuous activities, ibuprofen, aspirin, and caffeine at least a day to an hour of the appointment
Avoid sun exposure
Avoid hair removal through waxing, tweezing, or touching the face for at least 5 days before the treatment
Wear comfortable clothing
Bring along some earphones or a book to keep busy during the process so you won’t feel restless.
